Junior Team

The Junior Program is open to boys and girls ages 13 to 18. The program is focused on introducing youth to an alternative sport that fosters teamwork, self-esteem, discipline and commitment. Participants will have the opportunity to represent MBC at local, regional and national races.

Practice

Spring and Fall:
Monday - Friday from 3:30 -5 p.m.
Saturdays at 9 a.m.

Summer

Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m.
Saturdays at 9 a.m.

Racing

The juniors compete in a number of local, regional and national regattas. The Junior Team competes in regattas approximately every 2 weeks starting in mid June through August

Miriam is an institution at MBC. She has coached both locally and on an international level (World University Games). She has been central to the success of Olympians, World, Elite National , Junior National and Canadian Henley Champions. 
 
Dori Chretin moved from sunny California to row with the MBC lightweights. This resulted in several Elite National, Canadian Henley and NWIRA Championships.
