Head of the Charles Results

The three MBC boats that raced at the Head of the Charles Oct. 17 and 18 all had a strong showing at the Boston regatta.

The Women's Club 8 had a solid row and finished 24 out of 41 boats in a very strong field of club and collegiate 8s.

The Women's Master 4 was trying to defend the title for MBC for the third straight year. The women started first as bow number 1 and held off the competition, blazing to a first place finish! The 4 crushed the rest of the field, finishing nearly 50 seconds ahead of the second place crew.

The Women's Youth Four battled nasty weather on Sunday, facing cold, rain, wind and sleet. The 4 finished 12th out of 77 crews and earned a qualification for next year.
