Join us for the Pike Island Challenge

MBC will be hosting the Pike Island Challenge on Sat., Sept. 11 from 7 a.m. to noon. Boats will start launching at 7:30 a.m.

The casual, fun race starts at the Minnesota Boat Club. Boats race upstream to Pike Island, row around the island and then back to the boathouse. The race is about 13 miles.

Breakfast on Raspberry Island will follow the event. Pancakes, bacon and sausage will be provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring a dish to share. Family and friends are welcome to join for breakfast after the row.

MBC rowers can coordinate with their coaches to arrange boatins. MBC alumni and boats from other clubs are also welcome to join. Please e-mail webmaster@boatclub.org for more information.
